Rats are pests and here are some reasons/facts why they are pests. Rats are pests because they are omnivores meaning that they eat things like: kiwi eggs, weta and other native New Zealand animals. As you can see the rat has a variety of food sources making them competitors for native animals. There are thousands of them making them a huge pest.
Welcome to my blog! I am in a year 3 and 4 class called Kea and our teacher is Mrs Bothma.

puriri moth
On Monday my class all did a slide about an animal that is native to New Zealand and and as you can see from the picture I picked the Puriri moth and and I think it was a good pick
It was a little hard because the tabs that my teacher put up didn't help too much I only got my info from books because I did not find anything on the tabs. It was still hard because I didn't want to just copy from the books so instead I had to try and turn it into my own words which is a little bit hard but I still did it other wise this blog post would not be here.
I hope you enjoyed reading about the puriri moth.
